We are taking this opportunity to also honor those who have succumbed to HS-related complications. If you are participating in Bring HS to Light, please observe one minute of silence to pay remembrance to them.

The June 8th Bring HS to Light Candlelight Vigil will be online, raising awareness for HS and honoring those who have succumbed to HS-related complications.
​
Participate in the online vigil by lighting a candle and posting pics and/or videos on the Bring HS to Light Facebook page. You can also have your own live vigil. Gather family, friends, and neighbors to light a candle June 8th to raise awareness of Hidradenitis Suppurativa. Your gathering doesn't have to be large as long as everyone lights a candle in solidarity to shed light on this affliction. Invite others to participate if you like.

We would also like to include your name and town/city/state on this site to let others know who is participating.
​
Raising awareness of HS is key to fostering compassion and understanding and just may be what it takes to prompt the medical profession to research for a cure.
​
The more people who participate, the better the chance of raising awareness on a big scale.
